The hipster chooses Pet Nat instead of bubbly, preferring small and local wine growers who work holistically and sustainably. He describes himself as an anthroposophist; for him, wine is a natural product, a symbiosis of humans, animals and nature. He takes a clear stance against mass wine and animal husbandry, monoculture and the use of chemicals in agriculture. That's why he relies on Demeter products. From his trip to Georgia he brought back mash-fermented orange wines, made in Quevris, in order to explore the origins of the wine. He likes to drink native grape varieties such as Furmint, spontaneously fermented, unfiltered and unsulfured.
