Rémi Jobard is the nephew of the famous winemaking brothers Charles Jobard and François Jobard. When Rémi joined the winery in the mid-1990s, the use of all herbicides and pesticides began. The organic certification took place in 2011. Rémi Jobard is a proven white wine winemaker with the best locations in Meursault, which is why his two Pinot locations also have a comparable signature.

The Premier Cru locations in Monthélie and Volnay are comparatively high up and therefore fit Jobard's portfolio with their rather cool appearance. Over the last few years, Jobard has relied more and more on a combination of Stockinger fuders and tonneaux. The clear avoidance of reductive popcorn and popcorn aromas, the restrained use of wood, which gives the Meursaults only a subtle and not an intrusive hazelnut aroma, leads to finesse and brilliance with Jobard.
